Vasyl Lomachenko Says he Doesn’t Like Watching Rigondeaux Fight

Vasyl Lomachenko Talks Rigondeaux’s Boxing

Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko who currently holds the WBO World Featherweight and Super Featherweight titles say he is “not interested.” And doesn’t like watching his December 9th opponent, WBA Super World Super Bantamweight, and WBO World Super Bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux fight.

He understands that many fans of boxing are excited about the upcoming super fight, between the two number one p4p contenders. Lomachenko says that he is very happy to be part of the bout, as they make history in boxing. He is excited about that challenge and says that we will find out of Rigo is, in fact, the most sophisticated boxer he has ever fought.

Loma feels that his opponent’s style is a very special, very different style. And with styles like this, it is always hard boxing to find the key, but Vasyl hopes that he will find the key. He believes that half of the fight will actually be a mission to work out his opponent.

Loma feels that he will have to think more in the fight in order to open his defence. While at the same time ensuring the same thing doesn’t happen to him.

The Bigger Man

Although it is believed that Vasyl is the bigger man. After seeing him in the flesh at one of his fights, he thinks they are roughly the same size. But they will soon find out when they square off at the upcoming New York press conference.

And while Lomachenko says that he doesn’t like to watch Rigondeaux’s fights, he believes that the opposite is not true. Making a comparison of being forced to study a subject you hated in school, in his case chemistry. Adding that watching Rigo do his thing inside the ropes is more interesting as it’s the sport of boxing.

Vasyl Lomachenko vs Guillermo Rigondeaux takes place December 9th at Madison Square Garden, New York.
