As the two men battle it out in the co-main event for the much-coveted No. 1 contender spot. To face Hawaii’s own Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway for the featherweight strap. Cris Cyborg is perhaps the most dominant woman fighter to compete in all mixed martial arts. A champion in every promotion she has ever fought under. Now she seeks to defend her current featherweight title against the former Invicta champion Kunitskaya. Who will be making her UFC debut as she tries to break the run which has seen Cyborg crush all of her recent opponents.
While in the co-main event we see the veteran and former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar. Who takes on rising star Brian Ortega in a fight which will determine the number one contender spot in the division. Ortega comes into the fight with tonnes of momentum, having not lost a fight as a professional. But in Edgar, he will be facing a fighter who has been to the top of the mountain and knows how to handle big fights.
