El Cucuy Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov Brendan Dorman Preview: Part Three (Narrated) The Guard of Cucuy
If there’s intrigue among athletes and experts, and interest from the purists on any single facet of the fight between Tony Ferguson and Khabib, it is in how the ground game will look. Like most fights of this magnitude, where a deserving contender who has looked unstoppable for years fights the rebel force champ, it is safe to assume some unexpected moments. Usman vs. Colby being a good example of sentiment.
Tony Ferguson, a 10th Planet Black Belt under Eddie Bravo, is known for more things than I have tie to mention, among them his unpredictability and of course what the subject of part 3 is; a very dangerous ground game. Tony is equally confident in his skills to do damage from the bottom as he is (part 4) locking up submissions by hook, crook, and amidst transition(s).
The premise, like always, is to show you and explain some of the subtle nuance and reasons for efficacy. Ferguson is one of the best fighters in the game, and most difficult to plan for as well. This makes him equally difficult to break down, but who doesn’t like the challenge?
