Hard-hitting Johny Hendricks looks to get back to welterweight title contention. As he takes on powerful wrestler Tyron Woodley, who has his own dreams of UFC gold. Both of these competitors know each other well from their days in collegiate wrestling. Some might even say they have a score to settle when they yet again meet.

Former division champion Hendricks is a man on a mission to retake the welterweight title. Having lost the belt to the current champion Robbie Lawler, Johny now seeks redemption against old foe Tyron The Chosen One Woodley. Tyron lost to Johny when they met back in college wrestling days. Saying that Hendricks cheated during their match and it’s something which he has never forgotten.

And Woodley looks like a man on a mission as he prepares at a new gym to take on and defeat his former opponent. Believing that if he can beat Hendricks who he sees as his toughest test, then he should be on his way to being a world champion.

So trying to balance time with his children and training can be a big ask, but it has to be done. And as the fight draws near, he needs to take his training up and notch. Which means heading up to Milwaukee and Roufus sports academy under the leadership of Duke Roufus. In order for him to get in some high-level training with a world calibre team of fighters.

Both men are giving it everything they have as they prepare for a fight that may catapult the winner to a UFC title shot. As Hendricks seeks to make it 2 – 0, staying undefeated against his former wrestling opponent. Ten years since they last met, Tyron Woodley, knows he has what it takes to beat his former opponent and secure his number one contender spot.
