James Gallagher Bellator Fight
The Strabanimal James Gallagher, says that he is ready to fight for Bellator’s featherweight title, right now! Speaking with USA Today Sports, the Irishman had plenty to say before he steps in the cage at Bellator NYC. And faces off against Chinzo Machida, older brother of the former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida. And someone who is actually exactly twice his age!
Gallagher commented that; “A lot of people think, just because I’m young and I’m on such a big stage. I should be uncomfortable and this sort of thing. But this is what I love to do. And I don’t want to be anywhere else but here.”
Gallagher went on to say…
“I take great pride and passion in what I do. And I’m proud of what I’ve done to get here. But I realise I have a job to do, so I keep that focus. That’s all I focus on is getting my job done, that’s all I focus on.”
Rising rapidly through the ranks of Bellator’s featherweight division. With a win against Machida, there’s will be very little doubting Gallagher’s bargaining power.
