Teddy Atlas Discusses Mayweather vs McGregor “He’s in There with A Caveman”

Teddy Atlas Breaks down Mayweather vs McGregor

The World-renowned former Mike Tyson boxing trainer Teddy Atlas weighs in on the newly announced Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor bout August 26th. Atlas who is on record as saying the fight resembles Jerry Springer more than a boxing match.

Reckons that Floyd doesn’t have the traditional issues in terms of bad habits, like his diet etc. To remove before returning to action inside the ring. He’s always in the gym working out and training with his proteges and living the life of an athlete.

McGregor may be one of the better strikers out there. But when it comes to boxing, he’s a caveman and Floyd is the best defensive boxer in the world, will see everything coming. And with boxing gloves and not MMA 4oz gloves, he doesn’t even get a punchers chance according to Atlas. who goes on to list all the world-class boxers who couldn’t even hurt the 49 – 0 Mayweather.

Teddy goes on to answer a question in regards to whether this fight will actually hurt boxing. Referencing a previous PPV event, again including one Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao. Which by all accounts never lived up to its billing. With GGG vs Canelo also on the horizon, how will this all pan out?
