Demetrious Johnson “I’m worried for Aldo” on Jose Aldo vs Conor Mcgregor

Demetrious Johnson Talks Conor Mcgregor vs Jose Aldo

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson recently hosted a media lunch to discuss his upcoming title defence against John Dodson at UFC 191. During the lunch, he was asked and spoke about the upcoming title fight between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor. He broke down the fight with Chad Mendes and gives his interpretation of why the fight went the way it did. DJ also spoke about who he believes will win the fight. When the two champions meet in Las Vegas this December at UFC 194.

Johnson talks about the preparation both me went through in the build-up to UFC 189. Chad Mendes was not in camp and only had a few weeks to prepare for the Irishman. While Conor McGregor had an injury and was unable to train with a wrestler. So both men were at a disadvantage going into the fight. But Mendes for sure was nowhere near the shape he needed to be in for the fight.

Demetrious says that in the upcoming title fight with Jose Aldo he is actually worried for Aldo. Simply because McGregor is a pressure fighter and Aldo is not used to being pushed backwards. When McGregor begins to cut angles and force the fight on the usually more aggressive Jose, how will he deal with it? Well in the eyes of the current pound for pound great Mighty Mouse, he doesn’t believe it will turn out too well.
