Conor McGregor vs Marcus Brimage Full Fight
This is where it all began for those in the UFC who were unfamiliar with “The Notorious” Conor McGregor. In his debut, he faced featherweight contender Marcus Brimage. McGregor makes short work of the American, dispatching him in just over a minute.
Using a combination of kicks, but most importantly his boxing. In the very first round, McGregor lands consistently throughout the opening exchanges. Brimage came out of the gates and immediately looked to be the aggressor. But keeping his distance and avoiding the shots, Conor begins to land some hard punches. Including a short uppercut which keeps catching Brimage as he walks forward.
And it is this punch which sends the UFC veteran to the canvas. Where he is swarmed by McGregor who continues to rain down unanswered blows. Forcing the referee to step in and signal and end to the fight. As the Irishman celebrates in the centre of the octagon, now draped in the National Tricolour flag.
