Conor McGregor vs Mayweather “They Were Setting Him Up” Says Chael Sonnen

Conor McGregor was setup Says, Chael Sonnen

Chael Sonnen talks about the atrocious scoring by the judges at Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor super fight. With two of the judges only giving McGregor 1 round. While the many respected boxing pundits and fellow fighters, gave him 3 and even four of the rounds. Yet nothing will be done to remedy the situation because boxing is so corrupt and this my friends is why the sport is dying.

Chael talks about the bet he had with Brendan Schaub, betting against Conor taking more than one round. With a guy who has never lost, facing a guy who has never boxed professionally. Sonnen saw it as easy money. And seeing as the bookies would not take the bet. After watching the fight Chael brought the 100k bet money to Schaub to pay off his bet. Except Chael heard that the judges only gave McGregor one round!

Chael says he didn’t feel right taking the money as that is not what happened and Schaub was the same! Neither guy wanted to take the others as they both knew Conor had won more than the judges gave him, so it just wasn’t right.

Amazing Performance of Conor McGregor

Sonnen says that it was an amazing performance by Conor. And even Floyd turning his back and Conor’s illegal rabbit punches to the back of the head. It turned into a street fight he says and he liked it. Even Teddy Atlas who was sitting beside Chael gave up to four of the first six to McGregor, saying

“He’s never been in there with a street fighter”

Atlas was sure Floyd would make a comeback. But at the same time was surprised by how Conor McGregor handled himself inside the ring. Some kid from Ireland who decided to throw on some gloves and box the very best in the world.

Compubox then saying how Conor landed 111 punches in 10 rounds. While the great Manny Pacquiao only landed 100 punches in a 12 round fight. The guy can box!

Now looking forward Chael reckons the next thing for Conor will be a trilogy fight against Nate Diaz towards the end of December. And yes, he has inside information on that!
