Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov Backstage Altercation
Khabib Nurmagomedov starts an altercation with the featherweight king Conor McGregor backstage at UFC 205. Just before Conor went on stage to weigh in and face off against Eddie Alvarez for UFC 205 New York. Will we see an eventual matchup between these two fighters at lightweight? It’s a weight McGregor is already familiar with and has previously held a world title in. Perhaps Khabib is the next fighter to be tested should he gets past the current champion.
And we know that while this pair originally had what seemed like a good relationship. Posing for photos together and seemingly admiring each other’s work. Things have since then gone somewhat downhill as they have more recently exchanged several words online.
Here we see them having some words backstage. As Khabib points at McGregor and tells him;

And it’s a potential fight that has fans foaming at the mouth. As the undefeated Nurmagomedov bulldozes his way through the lightweight division. On an inevitable route to a championship fight! Who will be sitting on the throne waiting when he arrives? Will it Conor or will it be Eddie Alvarez?
Would McGregor be able to handle the undeniable world-class wrestling or Nurmagomedov? Would Khabib be able to withstand the striking or Conor? It’s a classic wrestler vs striker matchup and no doubt has gotten many pundits and fans alike thinking. And with both fighters having such strong fanbases, we can only imagine what the build-up to this fight would look like!
A Russia vs Ireland matchup for the ages that if both fighters are at their peak. Could potentially be one of the biggest fights in UFC history. so let’s keep our fingers crossed that both fighters do well in their upcoming fights and who knows what the future may then hold.
