Valentina Shevchenko – Breakdown / Skill Study / Highlights *NEW* 2017

‘The Bullet’ Valentina Shevchenko ‘Golden Crosshairs’

Valentina Shevchenko is a 29-year-old is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian mixed martial artist. And a former Thai Boxer who competes in the women’s bantamweight division of the UFC. When competing she was considered one of the best female Muay Thai fighters on the planet, amassing a 56-2 record. She is a phenomenal counter striker and utilizes drastic angle-breaks. Via her nearly perfect lead hand check hooks from southpaw, along with some other tricks we will cover.

Her grappling is improving, and likely was the difference in her fight with Holly Holm (W via UD). And definitely, lead to her submission victory over Julianna Pena.

She is slated to fight Amanda Nunes 9/9 at UFC 215 for the Women’s Bantamweight Title. And avenge her semi-controversial decision loss to her. This is an exciting fight on so many levels, as both women have improved dramatically since the last time they met.

My aim here is to focus on her counter striking abilities, and developing grappling that make her one of the best p4p female competitors in MMA.
