OFT #80 | UFC 215 Recap w/ Chuck Mindenhall (MMAFighting) & UFC Pittsburgh Preview

UFC 215 Recap w/ Chuck Mindenhall (MMAFighting) & UFC Pittsburgh Preview | OFT #80

On this episode of the show, we scouted Chuck Mindenhall of MMAFighting.com & TheRinger.com to help us recap all-things UFC 215 – from the semi-controversial main event, to the fight the never happened in Demetrious Johnson vs. Ray Borg, to Henry Cejudo realising his potential, and Gilbert Melendez’s leg. We also discussed what’s next for the likes of champion Amanda Nunes, Valentina Shevchenko, Rafael dos Anjos, Gilbert Melendez, Henry Cejudo and the rest of the main card.

Chuck also happens to be one of our favourite mixed martial arts journalists, and one of the very best writers in the game. We’d like to thank him for the time he gave us.

We were then joined by MMA Analyst Brendan Dorman, now a staple of the show, to preview this weekend’s card, and we’re not talking about the boxing match. UFC Fight Night 116 goes down and is headlined by Luke Rockhold and Dave Branch. We previewed the full card, including a potential Fight of the Year candidate Thiago Alves vs. Mike Perry.

And to top it off, we went back to our roots by welcoming local ex-fighter, now-referee, Decky Larkin to the show for the first time. We chat about his career fighting inside the cage to his career officiating the action.
