Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic Documentary

Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic Full Documentary

The documentary you have never seen on the one and only Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic. With classic lines like; “FEAR – I’m afraid of snakes, aggressive girls and loose dogs over 60kgs.” Stories of his time in the special forces. Some pig spit roasting and an impromptu fight in their back garden after a little bit too much to drink.

It’s all here as we get a rare behind the scenes look at the life of one of combat sports biggest stars. A timely bit of historical footage as another Croatian, albeit American Croatian Stipe Miocic steps into the cage this weekend at UFC Adelaide.

Cro Cop moved into MMA after a long and successful career in standup. A true veteran in both K1 kickboxing where he first built his name as a powerful striker. His move into the new sport didn’t go so well in the beginning. But it wasn’t long before his abilities adapted to the new environment.

Building a solid name for himself as an MMA fighter, Mirko signed with Pride Fighting Championships. And throughout his tenure defeated some of the biggest names in the promotion.

Eventually, he did fight for the title against the reigning champion Fedor Emelianenko. Losing on points, he would never fight for another title, moving from one promotion to another. He made his way to the UFC but again was unable to overcome the hurdles put in his way.

Today he is regarded as one of the best fighters to have ever competed. And his epic wars against some of combat sports biggest names will forever be remembered. Mirko Cro Cop, right leg hospital, left leg cemetery, we hope you enjoy this short documentary and view into his life.
