After their previous matchup, Johny Hendricks has been laid up for a long time with a torn bicep. During that time Robbie Lawler has gone on to beat two title contenders in Jake Ellenberger and Matt Brown in convincing fashion.
Now just 8 months after their last matchup, Lawler once again finds himself in a title contention fight. This will be Bigg Riggs first fight back after his injury, so it will be interesting to see how they both fair in this highly anticipated rematch. Hendricks has been there or thereabouts for quite a long time and now wants to show he has what it takes to win the welterweight title.
