Joe Duffy’s Final Interview ahead of UFC 217

UFC lightweight Joe Duffy chats with BT Sport’s Caroline Pearce. In his final interview before he takes on James Vick at UFC 217. With some much focus being put on the three main card title fights. Duffy has somewhat flown under the radar during the buildup to the card.

Duffy is coming into this his fight against Vick on a two-fight win streak with a current win-loss record in the UFC of 4-1. Having just signed a deal for a further 7 fights in his new UFC contract. He hopes to be challenging for the lightweight title before the end of his current contract.

“Irish” Joe has already said in a previous interview that he doesn’t believe Conor McGregor will be holding the title when he challenges. And so for him, his fight with Vick is just another step along the road to that inevitable title shot. But most likely won’t be against his former foe, the current 155lb champion McGregor.
