The big debate as to whether Fedor Emelianenko has been the greatest heavyweight mixed martial artist in the world to date is one only really for the fighters. The pundits and the promoters can say whatever they like. But in reality, the only opinion that matters is that of those fighters who have faced the Russian MMA legend. Now making his return to the sport, Fedor is once again thrown into the spotlight.
With some of the same questions once again being raised, by those whose name we will not mention. Will his return to action outside of the Ultimate Fighting Championships answer any of those outstanding questions? Probably not. But who cares, as the fans and followers of Emelianenko only want to see their fighter back doing what he does best. Either in the UFC or any other promotion. And there is no doubt that his return bout will be one of the most-watched in 2015.
