President Dana Talks 4 Billion UFC Sale
With the news now official that the UFC has now been sold in a $4 billion dollar deal. ESPN’s sports analyst Brett Okamoto breaks down the sale and what effect it may have on the sport going forward. Okamoto briefly chatted with Dana White via text and got a few words from the UFC president on what happens next.
With comments such a “the sport is going to the next level “and that the sale is a “Bittersweet” moment for the long time president. Perhaps some of the $360 million he has made form the sale may take some of that bitterness away. UFC fans will have to sit and wait to see how this story develops and what effect it will have on the sport’s future. With a group of investors including WWE, what if anything might change?
Who knows, perhaps we may see a change in style and some of the extravaganza which was brought to the sport by PRIDE FC’s Sakuraba.
