Dan Hardy Breaks Down Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather

Former welterweight fighter turned UFC commentator Dan Hardy joined UFC tonight. To talk about the super fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather taking place August 26th. Hardy will be part of the Sky Sports broadcast team for the fight. And says that it feels pretty special to be in there on such a huge night in sports.

Dan along with Kenny Florian and Daniel Cormier break down what they feel McGregor has to do in order to win the fight. Saying that he cannot go out there and box Mayweather. that he has to do something unusual in order to beat the boxing great.

Hardy talks about what it has been like joining the Sky Sports crew. Sky don’t normally show much MMA, so for him, it’s been quite intriguing to discuss the sport. Cormier asks if he feels like he has to defend MMA against the normal boxing fans at Sky.

He says that he doesn’t want to go into the job as the guy who is there to defend MMA. He is a lover of all combat sports. And he just wants to go in there and give the fight an objective opinion.

Covering all this sporting action, Kenny Florian asks if it is giving him the itch to start competing again? Dan replies saying that it does indeed. And that he is learning so much from the process of covering the fight and analysing the fighters involved.
