Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker: GLOVES ARE OFF

One of the most highly anticipated heavyweight boxing matches in recent times takes place March 31st. As the IBO, WBA and IBF world champion Anthony Joshua. Will face off against New Zealand’s own WBO champion Joseph Parker, in a unification of their titles. At the Principality stadium in Cardiff Wales.

Of course the world is now familiar with the superstar that is Anthony Joshua. But, far less familiar with his Kiwi challenger Joseph Parker. Yet Parker brings with him a perfect professional record of 23 wins, with 23 KO’s.

What we do know is that Parker has not faced the same calibre of fighter as Joshua. Who has managed to knock out every one of his 20 opponents on his way to the World title. But Parker is no slouch, with a perfect record of 24 wins and 0 losses. With 18 of those wins coming by way of knockout.

The smaller man inside the ring, Parker is adamant that his speed will be one of the deciding factors. And it’s something the Joshua camp have been looking to counteract. With their man shedding muscle and dropping weight on his way to full fitness.
